WOW has been a long time since I posted...a VERY long time!  Going to try and do much better!

Headed back to Kansas next Monday to see my family.  Very excited about seeing my grandson.  Look for update pics of him on here when I return on July 8th.

Haven't had the chance to write anything for a while.  Have been busy at the shop last week or so and spent sometime with good friends over the past two weekends. Recieved pics of the 59 Chevy Impala my dad is restoring for me (investment) It is a fire engine red....pics are of the body ...will have to try and get them reduced to add them here.  I am very excited about the car.  He has restored about 10 cars over the past 15 years. He restore a 56 Chevy for my mom, that goes to my sister.  This car (the 59) is a HOT looking car, I can't imagine what the final product will look like.  I plan on going back to Kansas to see it when it is finished and will take numerous pictures I am sure.  Just ask design bear about my picture taking habits!  Took over 350 when I visited him a couple months ago.  Good pics....good memories. 

Haven't posted anything in about 4 days so thought I better drop a few sentences. Not much has happened or is happening since last week, except the cold ass weather ya'll had in the rest of the country FINALLY reached Central Florida and we all have our Parka's out because it dropped below 58 today.  Supposed to get down to upper 30's tonite so I guess the heater that gets used about 5 days a year will burn out some heat tonight.  Work is still horribly slow.  Won't pick up again until around Easter.  Booking lots of Summer weddings though...not quite sure why these  women would want to get married in the middle of the sweaty summers we have here but they always seem to flock in during May, June and July.

Have new pics of my grandson playing in the snow last week but my daughter always sends them via cell phone and I have yet figured out how to get them here.  When I figure it out I will post them.  Well time for a Hot Toddy!  LOL  Well a hot somethng with a little Vodka will warm me up....  Cheers! 

 Wow...just now getting a chance to sit down and write a bit.  Kinda busy at the shop today.  Is my worst kinda day weather wise...RAIN! Is soon to be the rainy season here in Central Florida and will rain every afternoon....for a couple hours in the afternoon...sometimes with the sun shining...is the strangest thing to see.  <lj user=design_bear> says I should not talk about the weather...is boring...LOL  But it plays an important part in my life...hate gloomy rainy blah days hence one of the reasons I live in Florida. Had the strangest dream last night...with alot of fellow Mo's here I know everyone will appreciate or wonder WTF when I tell it. IN the dream I was my favorite crack diva Whitney Houston's bodyguard.  LOL  I know LOL  WAS AN INSANE DREAM!!!! I think it has do do with my fascination with her and poor Brit.  LOL At any rate, to make the dream even more crazy she had three white male children....that I had to watach out for as well...was a CRAZY FUCKED up dream...LOL  More in a bit.........

Finally off work and home stripped down to my calvins and having a cocktail!  WooHoo  Bout to rain though. 

 Is a beautiful day here in Florida!  We actually have nice weather (mid70's) about 2 months out of the year, the rest of the time...well can you say HUMID AS HELL!  Ahh the price to live in paradise!  Will be another slow day here at the shop, always is after the big love holiday.  I guess thinking about it only design_bear knows what I do here in Orlando.  I work for a floral design studio owned (of course) by a gay couple whom are friends of my roomie.  I love my work, (very low stress) and the people I work for.  Is a small shop just I and one of the owners handle all the day to day stuff.  We are located in a small burb of Orlando called College Park. I DO NOT miss the restaurant biz I worked in for 28 years, is a brutal biz here in Florida. Picture is of my grandson Jaerson, he will be 2 in September, his grandpa misses him alot..... More later
